Boy I wrote about Stompernet the other day, in a nice and pleasant voice but some of the other bloggers out there have not been so congenial. Seems the large and noisy launch of new openings in Stompernet put some folks into a bad mood and the next round of Guru Wars has been initiated.
First there is Ric Butts telling folks to unsub from all those lists. Then there has been Scott Boulch and another of his anti guru campaigns (he has a product coming out - membership site building).
Now there are former insiders even trashing them.
Nathan Anderson, another SEO Expert, wrote a piece Death of Product Launches and the backfire they create for the marketers who bomb us with these blitzes.
Bottom line of any of this is that each one of these guys is basically trying to encourage you not to overload yourself with info. Well we have been saying that for years. Don’t buy everything that comes your way. Focus on what works and unsub from all those lists. Nothing new here folks.
Stick with what works and if what you are doing doesn’t work then don’t solve it by buying into another product that will overwhelm you even more.
