Getting the Word Out!

June 14th, 2008 · 1 Comment

Ok. You’ve created your own product that has been proven to have great demand and you have a great salesletter that has a sky-high conversion rate. But all this is futile if you don’t have a single soul passing by your website since you will have no one to sell to!

You might be a total beginner and therefore do not have a massive mailing list to sell to, and your website is on the 103th page of search engine results pages. The good news is that you can change all that with a few tried-and-tested traffic generation techniques.

First and foremost, let me make it clear to you that search engine optimization is not the only way to gain massive amounts of traffic. [Read more →]

The Number One Reason People Fail on the Internet

June 10th, 2008 · No Comments

The White Hat Guys had a meeting tonight, as we do every Monday evening. The discussion got around to all the emails we get from our subscribers asking basically for “the secret to success”.

The emails are all worded differently but the underlying theme is still the same. What is the “quick and easy way to get rich on the Internet”! Or what do I need to do to succeed, or where can I get the information that will teach me how to make a living from home, etc., etc.

Well we each have interviewed 100’s of people that all ask basically these same questions but the funny thing is these people still fail and fail miserably even after you give them [Read more →]

Partner for Success

May 30th, 2008 · No Comments

There are several ways you can build a lucrative Internet business available to users today. You can do it all yourself but that means you will have to spend time learning all the right techniques and then testing them to perfect what works.

This can cost you a lot of time and money. But isn’t time really money?

You could pay someone to do most of the techie stuff for you. But that would cost even more money - although it would be considered an investment if you had the money.

Or you could partner with someone who has already been there and done that - as the old saying goes. They can help get you through the minefield of mistakes and costly time and money we have all suffered in our early careers.

But how can you find a partner if your new to the Internet? I am not talking about doing a Joint Venture with someone who has a big list. That only works AFTER you have your site up, your product developed, your sale letter completed and tested and an affiliate program in place to pay your JV partners.

No what I am talking about is a partner that will take you under their wings and show you the ropes. A good partner will steer you in the right direction and keep you focused and on track. That way you get your site done in a quick and timely manner.

This gets you to profitablilty faster. The other advantage is less work and a lot less time and frustration.

- So how do you find the right kind of partner? You can search and search through the forums that apply to your chosen Niche.

- You could Google for other website owners in associated Niches that might be willing to help.

- Or you could partner with a trainer that specializes in working with people just like yourself. A partner that has developed a specific training format to keep it easy, simple, extremely low cost and most of all who has the experience to walk the walk and talk the talk.

The Gurus Wars have begun…again

May 28th, 2008 · No Comments

Boy I wrote about Stompernet the other day, in a nice and pleasant voice but some of the other bloggers out there have not been so congenial. Seems the large and noisy launch of new openings in Stompernet put some folks into a bad mood and the next round of Guru Wars has been initiated.

First there is Ric Butts telling folks to unsub from all those lists. Then there has been Scott Boulch and another of his anti guru campaigns (he has a product coming out - membership site building).

Now there are former insiders even trashing them.

To Stomp Or Not To Stomp?

May 23rd, 2008 · No Comments

OK so the world has seen as flood of emails and promo this past week about Stompernet and their reopen of memberships. It seems that every “guru” in the book has been hawking for Stompernet. So the BIG question is do you need Stompernet?

No really think about this one. Think about you and your business.

Are you walking or are you crawling?

No really this is a real question.
